HRH Premier receives GCC ambassadors

Manama, Jan. 30 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed the one-family spirit binding the GCC countries. He commended the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting goodness, stressing that its security and stability is integral to the security and stability of the GCC countries.  HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today ambassadors of the GCC countries to Bahrain, headed by Kuwaiti Ambassador and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Shaikh Azam Al Mubarak Al Sabah. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the tremendous efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its enormous sacrifice to deter dangers and thwart conspiracies. He stressed that experience has proved the GCC military capability to deter dangers and defeat enemies. He expressed keenness for broader GCC meetings to boost the GCC capability and immunity to stave off conspiracies. HRH the Premier underlined special, strong and unique relation between the GCC leaders and their peoples, describing it as the secret of stability of their countries in a region full of conflicts. He urged the ambassadors to continue working on further cementing relations with Bahrain and the other GCC countries. He also pointed out the importance of the GCC march for the Arab countries as it embodies keenness on unity and solidarity. He urged to preserve the GCC march and maintain cooperation to overcome all challenges. HRH the Prime Minister reviewed with the ambassadors regional and international issues, stressing the need to boost cooperation and coordination to ward off threats, including mainly terrorism and its sources. The Saudi ambassador underscored his country’s directives to maintain constant communication with HRH the Prime Minister, describing him as a great GCC and Arab values. Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti ambassador described HRH the Premier as a key pillar for stability, commending his calls to rally ranks and promote GCC cooperation. The UAE and Omani ambassadors emphasised HRH the Premier’s pioneering role in backing the GCC march and rallying ranks.
