Terror case verdict adjourned to February 21

Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): The Military High Court of Appeal decided to adjourn Terror Case/2017/1 on attempted assassination of Bahrain Defense Force Commander-in-chief to February 21. The court took its decision in today’s session after hearing the defence lawyers, who submitted written and oral pleadings demanding the defendants' acquittal and to drop charges leveled against them. They also requested the court to fix a date to respond to the military prosecution's statement. The court adjourned the case until the February 21 to hold deliberations and to issue its verdict, providing that giving the lawyers a week to submit their supplementary statement in response to the military prosecution statement.
