Bahrain-Saudi health cooperation discussed

Manama, Feb.17 (BNA): National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mariam Adhbi Al-Jalahma held a meeting with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) Secretary-General Dr. Ayman Asaad Abda. The meeting was on the sidelines of the visit of Saudi Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah and his accompanying delegation to Bahrain to discuss joint cooperation. It was agreed that a NHRA delegation would visit the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) and sign a cooperation agreement between the two countries. Dr. Ayman Asaad Abda toured the NHRA sections and was briefed about prospects of cooperation, particularly medical licensure exams and health work procedures.
