Minister receives Swiss Consul

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Swiss Consul to Bahrain Humbert Vincent Boeme and FAST Protect, technical director Carsten Tschritter, in the presence of Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) Executive Vice President of Distribution and Customer ServicesAdnan Mohammed Fakhroo. The minister praised the ties between the two friendly countries in the fields of electricity, water and renewable energy, and was briefed on the latest technologies implemented by FAST Protect in the field of industrial security for ministries and government institutions. They also expressed a desire to establish a cooperative relationship with the EWA. Dr. Mirza said that EWA welcomed the cooperation with local and international companies and institutions in all fields that fall within the areas of electricity, water and renewable energy, and added they would study all offers according to available opportunities. The visitors thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality and for opening the prospect of cooperation with Swiss companies. The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hashem, Advisor to the Minister.
