FM receives Government of Dubai media official

Manama, Feb. 25 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa has received an invitation from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, to participate in the 17th Arab Media Forum to be held on April 3-4. The minister received the invitation during a meeting at the Ministry's General Court today, with the Director-General of the Government of Dubai Media Office, Mona Ghanem Al Marri. During the meeting, the minister expressed his pride in the brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates at various levels, expressing his sincere thanks and appreciation for His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's invitation to participate in the Arab Media Forum at its seventeenth session, wishing for the success of this forum in producing important and effective results that contribute to enhancing the role of Arab media and supporting efforts to continue progress and prosperity at all levels in light of developments and changes taking place in the world. Al Marri expressed her pleasure in meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and her appreciation for his keenness to support all initiatives that will strengthen the positive role of the media as an important pillar of the development process, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
