Bahrain’s tourism strategy discussed

Manama, Feb. 25 (BNA): The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid. Alzayani praised the great role played by the Arab Tourism Organization in enhancing cooperation and joint action among all member countries of the Organization, highlighting the tourism components possessed by the Arab region worldwide. This came during a meeting with the president of the Arab Tourism Organization Dr. Bander bin Fahad Al-Fehaid, in presence of Chief Executive of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa as part of the celebration of the Arab Tourism Day in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The two sides discussed a number of topics related to the tourism sector, exhibitions and conferences, and ways to benefit from international expertise. They reviewed Tourism Strategic Plan in Bahrain which is prepared by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority. The Minister stressed the role played by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority in implementing the orientations and vision of Bahrain, which places tourism sector at the top of its priorities.
