Bahrain marks Arabic Language Day2018

Manama, Mar. 1 (BNA): Bahrain's National Committee for Education, Science and Culture at the Ministry of Education (MoE) has honoured the winners of Arabic poetry contest to mark the Arabic Language Day2018. The committee secretary-general Dr. Lubna Sulaibeekh, expressed her gratitude to all the participating teachers, lauding the rich diversity of poems that portrayed the significant status of Arabic language in the world. The committee said it would circulate the winning poem to musicology teachers in schools to enrich their collections. Teacher Jaffar Ali from Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Secondary Boys’ School won the top tile for his poem (fi kheimat alhob wal hamayim). Teacher Fadhil Abbas from Al Munthir bin Saawi Primary Boys’ School won the second place for his poem (lughati haweeti) and Teacher Ghada Abdulghani from Al Maarif Al Haditha School won third for her poem (lughat albayan).
