Bahrain hands over CTF 151 leadership to Japanese forces

Manama, Mar. 1 (BNA): Bahrain, represented by the Royal Bahrain Naval Force (RBNF), handed over the responsibility of leading the joint task force (CTF 151) to the Japanese forces today, in the presence of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Sadah and senior officers. Bahrain contributed while leading CTF 151 to securing sea navigation in the region which asserts BDF's constant readiness to back joint efforts to promote peace. Ever since its inception, BDF has always accorded great importance to backing joint military action at the regional and international level. The celebration was attended by the US Naval Forces Central Command and 5th Fleet Commander Vice Admiral John Aquilino.
