Minister of Economy and Planning Receives Officials of Kuwait

Riyadh, March 01, SPA -- The Minister of Economy and Planning, Khalid
bin Mohammed Al-Gosaibi received here today a delegation of the
Advisory Board of The National Bank of Kuwait, headed by former Prime
Minister of the United Kingdom Sir John Major.

During the meeting, the ministry briefed the delegation on the
economic and social developments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
including a presentation of the main goals and objectives of its 8th
development plan.

The meeting was attended by Prince Turki al-Faisal, Chairman of
Board of Directors of King Faisal Center for Islamic Research and
Studies as well as senior officials of the Ministry of Economy and
Planning.
