BACA President receives Al-Ahram delegation

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received Chairman of Al-Ahram Foundation, Head of Egypt's Press Syndicate, Abdel-Mohsen Salama, and the accompanying delegation.  The BACA President gave an overview of the main local cultural activities, Bahrain’s World Heritage Sites listed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List, in addition to the BACA vision to include other sites on the same list, such as Manama, the city of tolerance and coexistence.  She attached significance to the Bahraini-Egyptian relations in cultural, arts and heritage fields, calling for further boosting the cultural bilateral relations to benefit Arab cultural movement.  The Egyptian delegation expressed admiration of Bahrain’s cultural movement, pointing out the BACA President’s presence at the Arab and international levels.
