Commander-in-Chief inspects armaments

Manama, Mar. 8 (BNA): The BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has inspected one of the BDF armaments and reviewed the administrative and combat readiness. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa was briefed about the modernization programmes and examined the combat, administrative preparations and construction plans. He praised the BDF officers and personnel capabilities in handling modern military systems under various conditions, adding that the BDF has long since become an advanced military force capable of defending the Kingdom’s soil and safeguarding its civilisational achievements. He stressed the BDF’s key role as the protective shield of the nation, its security and stability. He praised the ongoing efforts in developing the various combat and administrative capabilities to enable the BDF undertake its huge national responsibility as well as at the regional level. He urged the military to professionally, accurately and effectively perform their assigned duties in implementation of the BDF modernisation plans in compliance with the wise directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Supreme Commander. The BDF Commander-in-Chief was accompanied during his field inspection tour with Major-General Abdullah Hassan Al Nuaimi the Inspector General.
