Bahrain's Ambassador to USA discusses cooperation with ICAO

Washington, Mar. 8 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States and Non-resident Ambassador to Canada, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, met President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Dr. Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu, and ICAO Secretary General, Fang Liu. The Ambassador reviewed ways of cooperation between Bahrain and ICAO, especially with regard to the addition of air routes to keep pace with the growing air traffic in light of the ongoing expansion of the Bahrain International Airport (BIA). The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Ambassador's visit to Canada, where the Saudi Ambassador to Canada, Naif Al Sidiri, hosted a business dinner attended by the UAE Ambassador and the Arab Representatives to ICAO.
