Information Ministry receives honorary shield from ASBU

Manama, Mar. 16 (BNA): The Information Ministry, represented by the ground station department, participated in the annual meeting of the ground stations operators and engineers of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU) which convened in the Algerian capital from February 21 to 27. The Information Ministry obtained a honorary shield in appreciation of its efforts in the engineering field and active participation in news exchange between the member states. ASBU lauded the Information Ministry's professionalism in news exchange and commitment to the engineering standards of the General Directorate for Technical Affairs. Arabsat Operational Centre (AOC) praised cooperation of the ground stations engineers.
