Bahrain embassy in Russia participates in induction meeting

Moscow, Mar. 15 (BNA): Bahrain's embassy in Russia has participated in the induction meeting held today by the Central Elections Commission at its headquarters in Moscow for diplomatic and media bodies and organisations that will observe the presidential elections in the Russian Federation. The meeting was dedicated to briefing representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, media, local and international observers in Moscow about the rules and conditions which will govern the presidential elections scheduled for March 18. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the political parties participating in the elections and representatives of the local and foreign media and television stations which will cover the election events as well as representatives of Gulf, Arab and foreign embassies in Moscow. The Head of the Central Electoral Commission in Russia, Ella Pamfilova, gave a detailed explanation to facilitate the participation of Russian citizens, whether inside or outside Russia, in the presidential elections. She also briefed the audience on the facilities to be provided by the central committee to representatives of the media and international observers to ensure the transparency of the electoral process, noting that high tech is to be used to detect any violations that may occur during the electoral process.
