Bahrain attends conference on UNRWA

Rome, Mar.17 (BNA): Bahrain’s Ambassador to Germany Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla participated in the Extraordinary Ministerial Conference entitled “Preserving Dignity and Sharing Responsibility: Mobilizing Collective Action for UNRWA” at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Rome, Italy, which took place last Thursday. The Conference, attended by a number of officials from Arab, Islamic and Western countries, called on all international donors to make new financial contributions to enable the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East to continue its humanitarian work in helping more than five million Palestinian refugees, praising the important role played by the Agency in maintaining the stability of the Middle East.
