Nasser bin Hamad's varsity tournament praised

Manama, Mar. 18 (BNA): Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Member of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and Bahrain Olympic Committee and Chairperson of Women Sports Committee, has affirmed that the launch by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa of His Highness’s tournament for universities has spurred the sports activities and their enrichment in line with His Highness’s vision aimed to multiply the role of Bahraini youth in various fields, especially in sports. Shaikha Hayat expressed her gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for this initiative and his support to students of Bahrain universities and his efforts in advancement of Bahraini sports. She congratulated the winning universities in the student competition, citing the spectacular performance of students in the matches and their relentless keenness to display their capabilities of competing for the championship’s title. Shaikha Hayat also expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the Ministry of Youth and Sports led by the Minister Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jowder for organizing this outstanding tournament, noting the massive participation by all universities in the tournament.
