Arcapita to sponsor Arabian Gulf Award

Manama, Mar. 18 (BNA): Arcapita has announced that it will sponsor the Arabian Gulf Award for young Novelists (24 Hours) which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, from 23 to 24 March. This Award is one of the initiatives which were launched by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa to support youths in the cultural field. "We are proud of our sponsorship to one of His Highness initiatives in the cultural field in order to develop youth skills. This initiative is held for second time on row, and it is considered a literal initiative on the gulf level, and we are very proud of our sponsorship to it", said Arcapita Executive Manager Ahmed Abdul-Malik . "Despite of the short time of this Award, but it managed to gain a good number of participants, comparing to other literal competitions in the area. We also values the goals that this Award launched for, and the interesting of Arcapita in this Award is nothing new to talk about, because we have our previous contributions in sponsoring such cultural initiatives. Our contributions in them left an obvious touch and effect that reflect our proud of our Islamic and Arabic culture and what related to its arts and education." he added. On the other hand, the chief in editor of Al-Watan Newspaper, Youssef Albinkhalil has expressed thanks and appreciation to the executive manager of Arcapita, Mr Atif AbdulMalik on sponsoring of the Arabian Gulf Award for young Novelists (24 Hours). The Arcapita building in its strategical location in Bahrain Bay will host the Award competitions
