Bahrain-Russia environmental cooperation discussed

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Environment Council Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa received today Russian Ambassador to Bahrain Vagif Garaev. He congratulated him on success of the presidential elections in his country which resulted in President Vladimir Putin's winning of a fourth term with 76.67% of the votes. He lauded strong bilateral relations and their growth mainly in the environmental field. The Russian ambassador expressed thanks and respect to Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa for the good welcome, praising keenness to further bolster relations between the two friendly countries and hailing the role of the Supreme Environment Council in preserving the environment at the local and international level.
