BDF commander-in-chief visits unit

Manama, Mar. 23 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, paid a field visit to a BDF unit. He was informed about the unit’s development and progress stages, and was updated about the level of its combat, administrative and technical readiness, a well as their procedures to enhance the level of its training. The commander-in-chief lauded the competence of all the affiliates of the BDF branches and units, stressing their ability to deal with modern military systems. He highlighted the dedicated work carried out by the BDF personnel –each in their capacity, to enhance the level of combat and administrative readiness, noting that the process of equipping the BDF with the latest combat systems is on the right track, and that the BDF’s national competencies, including officers, non-commissioned officers and servicemen are being trained on the requirements of modern technology so as to enable them to assume the patriotic tasks assigned to them to defend the nation and safeguard its security and stability to the fullest.  He gave directives to everyone to continue exerting more dedicated efforts in the service of the homeland so as to attain the aspired for goals, stressing that this approach should be the guiding principle at all levels and in all fields and combat, training and administrative fields.
