Parliamentary delegation pays solidarity visit to Saudi embassy

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): A delegation from the Representatives Council paid a visit today to the Saudi embassy in Bahrain in an act of support against Houthis' launching of seven ballistic missiles yesterday on cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh. The delegation described the attack as cowardly targeting civilians and their security. The parliamentary delegation affirmed support to all steps taken by the Saudi government to preserve its security, stability and territorial integrity as well as protect its interests, achievements and capabilities. It demanded all Arab, Islamic and international parliaments to denounce those hostile practices which prolong war in Yemen, increase the suffering of the Yemeni people and threaten international security and peace. It also reminded the international community of the need to speed up implementation of the UN Security Council's resolution number 2216 on disarmament of the terrorist Houthi militias and ensure all the Yemeni territories come under the authority of the legitimate Yemeni government..
