Al-Aiban delivers Kingdom's speech at UN Human Rights Council 2

"In line with this approach, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called for many international
dialogue conferences to build bridges of dialogue and constructive
cooperation among the peoples and followers of religions,
civilizations and cultures in the world", Dr. Al-Aiban said.

Dr. Al-Aiban recalled that the Kingdom has donated one billion U.S.
dollars for the reconstruction of Gaza Strip; one billion U.S.
dollars for IDB to be allocated for Treatment of Poverty Problems
Fund; $500 million for the World Food Program; and $ 150,000 for the
2nd Durban Conference, which will be held in Geneva in April 2009.

He stressed that the ongoing human rights and reforms instructed by
the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud are derived from the Holy Quran and Sunnah and in harmony with
the concepts of international human rights.
