OIC Chief meets Indonesian President and Malaysian Prime Minister 2 Jeddah

On the sidelines of the Forum, the Secretary General met with
Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi, who praised Ihsanoglu's
dedicated efforts to reform the OIC and enhance economic cooperation
among the OIC member States.

He emphasized the need to carry through all approved aspects of the
reform.

He also pointed to the importance of promoting trade, particularly
in light of the global financial crisis.

Professor Ihsanoglu, for his part, lauded the role played by
Malaysia and the personal efforts exerted by Prime Minister Badawi in
support of the OIC mission, activities and programs.
