BDF commander-in-chief congratulates oil minister

Manama, Apr. 5 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today sent a cable of congratulations to Oil Minister, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa on the discovery of the largest oil field in the Kingdom’s history. The commander-in-chief hailed the massive discovery, which, he said, represents an historic achievement, building on continuous strides in all fields, during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He praised the tremendous efforts exerted by Bahrain's Higher Committee for Natural Resources and Economic Security, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, resulting the landmark oil and gas achievement, which will serve the national economy.
