SK, Namkwang get US$373 mln order in UAE

SEOUL, March 3 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's SK Engineering & Construction Co. and
Namkwang Engineering & Construction Co. said Tuesday that they have signed a
US$373 million preliminary deal to build four skycrapers in Abu Dhabi, the
capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
SK Engineering holds a 65-percent stake in the construction with Namkwang
Engineering owing the rest, said Namkwang Engineering in a separate report.
Under the deal with Al Tamouh Investment, a property developer of the UAE, SK
Engineering and Namkwang Engineering plan to complete the construction of the
skyscrapers by 2011.
