Agreement on improving e-payment services signed

Manama, Apr. 10 (BNA): In line with the improvement of performance and rationalization of expenditure to meet the Government Action Plan and the objectives of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030. The Information and eGovernment Authority (IGA) and Benefit Company signed a cooperation agreement on the development of electronic payment services for government bodies and the provision of excellent services to facilitate the banking sector’s operations management.  In a press conference on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, IGA CEO Mohammed Al Qaed highlighted the significance of adopting creative solutions provided by national and government companies to improve e-payment services, reduce expenditure, in addition to saving time and effort.  Benefit CEO Abulwahid Janahi expressed delight in signing the agreement that is consistent with Benefit strategy aimed at working together with various sides to focus on national initiatives to meet Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
