363 Get Excellent Service Award From Tourism And Culture Ministry

KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 (Bernama) -- Officers and staff of the Tourism and Culture Ministry were today urged to strive towards realising the Malaysia Tourism Transformation Plan 2020 and Visit Malaysia Year 2020 campaign. Its minister, Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said they should all altogether, with heightened spirits, be implementing the mission of driving the country’s tourism and cultural sector to greater heights. “This year will be a successful and fruitful year that is awesome for Malaysia in terms of tourism and culture,” he said. The text of the minister’s speech was read by his deputy, Mas Ermieyati Samsudin, who represented him at the presentation of the ministry’s Excellent Service Award 2017 to 363 officers and staff. Of the number, 49 are from the ministry and 314 from 10 departments and agencies under the ministry. They each received a certificate and RM1,000 that went into their National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN-iplus) account. -- BERNAMA
