Deputy PM receives ENGGCC official

Manama, Apr. 11 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has urged official and professional engineering societies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to further their cooperation to regulate the practice of the profession according to the best universal standards of practice. Shaikh Khalid today received the Secretary General of the Gulf Engineering Union (ENGGCC) Kamal Abdullah Al Hamad who expressed his appreciation of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister’s patronage of the 21st Gulf Engineering Forum last February. Al Hamad thanked Shaikh Khalid for opening the conference on behalf of HRH the Prime Minister. Shaikh Khalid stressed the important role played by the engineering societies in the region, including Bahrain Society of Engineers in contributing to urban development in Bahrain.
