Ombudsman receives The Heritage delegation

Manama, Apr.11 (BNA): Ombudsman Nawaf Mohammed Al Maawda received a delegation from the Washington-based 'The Heritage Foundation' on a visit to Bahrain. Al Maawda highlighted to the delegation the efforts of Ombudsman’s Office and the role of the Prisoners and Detainees Rights Commission. Al Maawda also affirmed the keenness of the Ombudsman’s Office to strengthen its cooperation and communication with international institutions, especially in the areas of exchange of professional and managerial expertise and skills.
