HRH Premier hails Bahrain – UK ties

Manama, Apr.18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa deputized Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al-Khalifa and Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa to attend a reception party marking the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Simon Martin hosted the party, which was attended by senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps and invitees. Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al-Khalifa and Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa conveyed greetings and congratulations from HRH the Premier to HM Queen Elizabeth on this occasion, wishing her abundant health and well-being and the UK friendly people further progress and prosperity. They hailed strong bilateral cooperation which reflects long-standing ties. The British envoy extended deepest thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier, hailing his keenness on strengthening outstanding relations. He highlighted steadily growing cooperation in all fields, affirming his country’s keenness on strengthening joint ties.
