Bahrain-UK ties hailed

Manama, Apr. 19 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received UK Ambassador to Bahrain, Simon Martin. The minister welcomed Ambassador Martin, hailing the close and ever-progressing historical ties between the two friendly kingdoms and affirming Bahrain’s keenness to broaden the scope of bilateral cooperation in all fields in coordination with the U.K. in the interest of both friendly countries and people. The ambassador took pride in meeting with the minister, hailed the existing strong bilateral ties and stressed the need for both sides to continue exchanging consultations for closer bilateral relations and further security and stability in the region, wishing Bahrain permanent progress and prosperity.
