Bahrain condemns attack on checkpoint in Saudi

Manama, Apr.20 (BNA): Bahrain strongly condemned the shooting incident which targeted a security checkpoint in Asir region, in Saudi Arabia, leaving a number of security servicemen dead. The Foreign Ministry expressed the stance in a statement, extending deepest condolences and consolation to the bereaved families and relatives. It commended the strenuous efforts exerted by the Saudi security forces to maintain security and stability for citizens and residents. It reiterated Bahrain’s firm stance in support of Saudi Arabia against all forms of violence and extremism, backing all measures undertaken to deter anyone who attempts to subvert security and stability.
