Speaker receives Kuwaiti ambassador

Manama, Apr. 25 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, has received the Dean of Diplomatic Corps and Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah. Al-Mulla lauded the distinguished fraternal relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait. The speaker praised the major role played by the Kuwaiti Amir for the sake of supporting Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) relations, and promoting humanitarian work. They also discussed areas of joint cooperation and coordination in the parliamentary field, between Bahrain’s Council of Representatives, and the Kuwaiti National Assembly, led by Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim.
