HRH Premier lauds Bahraini-Philippine relations

Manama, Apr. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs at the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, Sarah Lou Y. Arriola, at the Gudaibiya Palace today. HRH the Prime Minister praised the current level of the Bahrain-Philippines relations, as well as the steady progress of bilateral cooperation, which, he said, reflects the depth of the solid bilateral relations, and the two friendly countries’ keenness on bolstering them for their common interests. HRH Premier reviewed with the Philippine undersecretary bilateral relations in various fields, stressing the two governments’ keenness on enhancing them, particularly in the economic, investment and labour fields. The Prime Minister hailed the "constructive" role played by the Filipino expatriate community in Bahrain, praising their commendable contributions to various fields.  The Philippine Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Government of Bahrain, led by HRH the Prime Minister, for its constant care for the members of the Filipino expatriate community in Bahrain, praising Bahrain’s civilisational and humanitarian image thanks to the efforts of its government and the outstanding qualities of its people. She lauded HRH Premier’s interest in enhancing relations between the two friendly countries, stressing her country’s keenness on developing its relations with Bahrain through opening up wider horizons of joint cooperation to achieve common interests.
