HM King ratifies, issues five laws

Manama, Apr. 26 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified and issued Laws 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14/2018. Law 10/2018 amends Article 34 of the Sharia Courts Procedures Law issued by Law Decree 26/1986. Law 11/2018 amends provisions of Law Decree 15/1986 regulating tourism. Law 12/2018 approves the Uniform Law (Code) to Combat Commercial Fraud in the Arabian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States. Law 13/2018 approves Bahrain joining the Agreement of Administrative Mutual Assistance on Tax Matters in its amended form as per 2010 Protocol signed by Bahrain in Paris on 29 June 2017, associated with this law – whilst maintaining specific reservations. Law 14/2018 approves Bahrain joining the Multilateral Agreement between the relevant authorities regarding Automatic Exchanging of Financial Accountancy Data, signed by Bahrain on 29 June 2017, associated with this law.
