HM King congratulated by Interior Minister on sport achievement

Manama, Apr. 29 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received congratulations from Interior Minister Lt-Gen Shaik Rashid bin Abdallah Al Khalifa on the new sport achievement made by Representative to HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, as he won the Iron Man North American Championship - under 49 age category, concluded yesterday in Texas. The Interior Minister said HH Shaikh Nasser's achievement embodies his determination to constantly promote Bahrain's international sport standing, highlighting the support of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for national youth and athletes alike. The Interior Minister also extended congratulations to HH Shaik Nasser on the new national achievement that reflects the sport progress attained under the royal leadership.
