Al Hurr praises labour gains in Bahrain

Manama, May 1 (BNA): The Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (Al Hurr) has extended congratulations to workers all over the world, particularly Bahrainis, on the annual International Workers’ Day. In a statement marking International Workers’ Day, Al-Hurr lauded the achievement of labour and trade union work in Bahrain under the pioneering reforms spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, stressing that labour gains during HM the King’s prosperous era are unprecedented and have placed Bahrain among the leading countries in this regard. Al-Hurr said that the Economic Vision for Bahrain 2030 has contributed to increasing Bahraini workers’ productivity and creativity through training and empowerment, which have entitled them to be the best option for the labour market. The statement also highlighted Al-Hurr’s achievements at the local, Arab and regional levels, including mainly its election as member of the Arab Labour Organisation and other committees. Al-Hurr asserted that its landmark achievements are the fruitful outcome of the support they have received from HM King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, since its establishment.
