Brewing up tasty treats at Chocolate, Coffee Exhibition

Manama, May 5 (BNA):Nearly 150 local and international exhibitors will display stacks of chocolate and fresh brewed coffee at an exhibition. The third edition of Chocolate and Coffee Exhibition will open upcoming December 6 to 8 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority chief executive Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa. Besides featuring chocolate and coffee tastings, the expo, will include workshops and trainings in a festive atmosphere which will unveil potential new investment opportunities in this vital industry sector that has been growing over the past decade. “The expo’s third edition includes accompanying events; a competition to establish the best coffee exhibitor in the region where jury sets the criteria to ensure fair competition among all applicants.” Said Mrs. Yasmeen Jamal, CEO of Bidayaat Company “A workshop on cakes baking and decorating is also scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the expo, allowing a large number housewives and bakeries to show their expertise in this industry that has become a major interest in all occasions.” Added Mrs. Yasmeen She also pointed out that entertainment activities inspired by world of chocolate and coffee industry as well as hosting musical groups, drawing with coffee competitions, tastes competitions and launching products for the first time in Bahrain and the region created by Bahraini entrepreneurs working in accordance to international standards. Efforts aim to attract more than 50 thousand visitor and 150 exhibitors from Bahrain and abroad. The event brings together investors, suppliers and investors seeking new investments in the industry, trade and delivery of chocolate and coffee in one place, offering the most international products and services related to the production of chocolate and coffee.
