Bahrain condemns terror blasts in Afghanistan

Manama, May 6 (BNA): Bahrain has condemend the terrorist bombings that targeted a mosque in the province of Khost and the headquarters of the district chief of Ahmedabad region of Paktia province in Afghanistan, which resulted in the death and wounding of dozens of people. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Bahrain's unwavering support to Afghanistan in its war against terrorism and its efforts to eliminate all terrorist organisations to achieve security and peace. The ministry expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and its wishes of speedy recovery for all those who have been harmed by this sinful act which contravenes all religious principles and moral and human values. It stressed Bahrain's firm position that rejects violence, extremism and terrorism, and that calls for the need for the international community to reinforce coordination at all levels to ensure the elimination of terrorism and the achievement of security and stability across the world.
