CIMB NIAGA PROJECTS ITS CORPORATE CREDITS AT RP3 TRILLION

Jakarta, Mar 5 (ANTARA) - Corporate Director of Bank CIMB Niaga Chaterinawati Hadiman said the bank has projected the bank's credits to grow to Rp3 triliun in 2009.

"While the total portfolio in 2008 of the bank's credits reached more than Rp20 trillion, this year we have projected the growth at Rp3 trillion," she said on the sidelines of the 5th World Islamic Economic Forum in Jakarta Tuesda.
She said this year the bank would be more selective in disbursing its credits in view of the global economic crisis.
"We will be more selective in this case, because this year as many people had predicted, the corporate sector may face heavier pressure, while the number of non-performance loans may increase," she said.
