Bahrain condemns Pakistani minister's assassination attempt

Manama, May 7 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the armed attack that took place in Punjab province that targeted Pakistan's Minister of Interior Ahsan Iqbal, wishing him speedy recovery. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Bahrain's solidarity with Pakistan in all its efforts to combat violence, extremism and terrorism in order to establish security and peace throughout the country. The ministry stressed the Kingdom's firm rejection of terrorism in all its forms, asserting the need to strengthen international cooperation to end this phenomenon that targets international peace and security.
