HRH Premier: Citizens development process ultimate goal

Manama, May 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that the Bahraini citizens have been and will remain the cornerstone of the development process and its ultimate goal, noting that the government aims to reach the highest level of the citizens’ satisfaction, and to put in place all the requirements of decent living and stability in the present and future. HRH Premier pointed out that the “Khalifa Town” which was ordered and opened by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa recently will witness many projects that serve the Southern Governorate citizens in the health, educational, housing and infrastructure fields to ensure them the best living conditions. Under the leadership of HM King Hamad, Bahrain has reached advanced levels of development and progress in various fields, and attained many development achievements, he said, stressing that the national action march will continue with the same determination to ensure a better life for the citizens. HRH Premier made the statements while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, a delegation from the Askar, Jau and Al-Dur regions, in the presence of Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa. Members of the delegation extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his kind directives to follow up on the needs of the Southern Governorate regarding services and facilities. HRH Premier welcomed the visit of the delegation, noting that it embodies the deep-rooted approach of communication and rapprochement among the citizens of Bahrain, based on the values of love spearheaded by the forefathers and ancestors. "We are keen to follow up on issues of concern to citizens, provide them with decent living and maintain their security and stability. Our response with all that affects the needs of citizens will continue through direct meetings. We examine every problem, whether in villages or cities, and do our utmost to solve them for the sake of the citizens’ comfort,” he said. HRH Premier lauded the strenuous efforts exerted by the Southern Governor to communicate with the citizens and follow up on their needs at all levels through initiatives aimed at developing the governorate by providing it with various services. The Prime Minister expressed thanks to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa for his constant follow up on all development projects implemented across the governorate. “Such a constant follow-up brings about much good for the local citizens,” he said. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of expediting the implementation of the development and service projects in the Southern Governorate, and complete them as soon as possible to ensure that the citizens have access to sufficient services and facilities. HRH Premier stressed the government’s keenness to provide all the requirements that ensure the speedy completion of projects at the Khalifa City, being an integrated housing project that achieves more social stability for the citizens. "The service projects that we are implementing for the sake of the citizens in the Southern Governorate are part of our duty, and all the projects will be completed. We assure you that we are with you, and we will follow up, on a continuous basis, the implementation of projects and overcome any difficulties that may face them,” he said. "We will not be discouraged from doing anything that is good for the homeland and the citizens. We will launch more projects, as Bahrain requires everyone to work for it, and to preserve what has been achieved for it and its people,” HRH Premier added. Southern Governor delivered a speech in which he extended, on behalf of the local citizens, deepest thanks and gratitude to HRH Premier for his support for the governorate, and interest in it. He said that the “Khalifa Town” citizens are honoured by HRH Premier’s audience, and extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to him. The kingdom, in general, and the Southern Governorate, in particular, are witnessing multiple achievements at all levels and in all sectors, he said, stressing that the governorate is keen to implement the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to achieve HRH Premier’s visions and aspirations to serve the local citizens. He highlighted the key development projects ordered by HRH Premier in the Southern Governorate, citing the integrated health centre to be established in the governorate to serve the “Khalifa Town” citizens. HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali affirmed that the citizens in the Southern Governorate are proud of the existence of town that carries HRH Premier’s name, “a leader who built Bahrain’s progress, a father who loves his people, and whose citizens love him.” He asserted that the delegation has come to extend thanks and gratitude to HRH Premier for the projects ordered by him for the governorate. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HRH the Prime Minister with long life for the sake of Bahrain and its people. Then, Shura Council member, Khamis Al-Romaihi, delivered a statement on behalf of the Southern Governorate’s citizens. He extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for his unwavering interest in the Southern Governorate, the tremendous efforts he is exerting for the sake of Bahrain’s progress, and constant follow-up on the citizens’ needs. A poem was also read.
