Kuwaiti education minister receives AGU president

Higher Education, Dr. Hamed Al-Azmi. Received here today the Arabian Gulf University (AGU), Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Ouhali. AGU president informed the Kuwaiti Minister, who is also AGO’s Board of Trustees Chairman, about the work progress, the agenda of AGU’s next board meeting, future development plans and the general features of the new strategic plan. Dr. Al-Ouhali also presented AGU’s bid to be accredited by the U.S-based Accreditation Commission of Colleges of Medicine (ACCM), highlighting procedures to accredit AGU’s College of Medicine and Medical Sciences by ACCM. Dr. Al-Ouhali also informed the minister about the Kuwaiti students enrolled at College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, and their expected number in various academic disciplines offered by AGU. He hailed Kuwait’s contributions to AGU since its establishment, out of its belief in its role in providing GCC countries with specialists staff and experts in various fields, praising GCC leaders to AGU.
