Saudi Arabia adopts customs exemption for Algerian goods

Cairo, March 05, SPA -- Saudi Permanent Representative to the Arab
League Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan said Saudi Arabia has adopted the
implementation of full exemption from customs fees for Algerian
goods, except tobacco and its derivatives, retroactive March 01,
2009.

In a statement, he said the move comes in line with a decision taken
by the Arab Economic and Social Council during its meeting at the
Arab League headquarters in Cairo last February.
