Bahraini-Japanese cooperation reviewed

Manama, May 22 (BNA): Deputy Premier, HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, received here today the Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain, Hideki Ito. The deputy premier welcomed the envoy, and expressed the kingdom’s keenness to broaden cooperation with Japan. HH Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa reviewed with the ambassador the progress of the friendship relations between the two countries, stressing Bahrain’s desire to continue bolstering its cooperation with Japan in various fields to achieve the interests of the two countries and peoples. Ambassador Hideki Ito affirmed his country’s keenness on strengthening cooperation and coordination with Bahrain in various fields, highlighting the progress boom currently witnessed by Bahrain which, he said, has become a role model to be emulated in the region.
