Northern Police Directorate holds workshop

Manama, May 22 (BNA): As part of the directives of the Interior Minister and follow up of Chief of Public Security, the Director-General of Northern Governorate Police has inaugurated a workshop on the mechanisms of the implementation of alternative penalties and measures. Organised by the Legal Affairs Unit, the workshop aimed to enhance awareness of the personnel.  The same workshop will be held on a weekly basis to cover more than 65 officers and at least 100 commissioned officers, in addition to those involved in the implementation of penalties.
