BACA president meets NBB officials

Manama, May 22 (BNA): Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa today received National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) Chief Executive Officer Jean-Christophe Durand and secretary-general Nasser Mohammed Nasser, who presented a cash donation in support of the Shaikh Ibrahim Centre for Culture and Research. The NBB officials hailed the crucial role of the Shaikh Ibrahim Centre for Culture and Research in hosting prominent intellectual figures, holding forums and lectures and conserving Bahrain’s cultural and urban heritage and reviving heritage homes.  BACA president commended the strategic role played by the private sector in supporting cultural projects and investing in sustainable schemes.
