HRH Premier pays tribute to late Abdullah bin Khalid

Manama, June 5 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister paid tribute to the late His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, who passed away today. HRH the Prime Minister recalled the deceased’s patriotic stances and contributions in the various positions he had assumed in the judiciary, Islamic affairs and municipalities throughout his career until his demise in the service of his faith and homeland. “We have lost a religious, national figure and historic reference whose memory will remain cherished forever,” said HRH the Premier. HRH the Prime Minister expressed sympathy with the family of the late HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid, praying to Allah to grant his soul eternal peace and to bestow patience and fortitude upon his family.
