Russia's Mufti condoles with HM King

Manama, June 6 (BNA): Chairman of Muslim Religious Board of the Russian Federation, Shaikh Ravi Aynutdin, expressed sincere condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Royal Family, the Bahraini people and the Arab and Islamic nations, over the demise of the late His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs, who passed away on Tuesday. The head of Russian Muftis in his cable said "the late Shaikh Abdullah exerted persistent efforts over decades and became an outstanding national, social and religious figure who left clear impressions and had a rich career of giving, achievements, reform and charitable deeds." The Russian official also expressed his condolences to Deputy President of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, praised the role undertaken by the late Shaikh Abdullah in various positions that reflect Bahrain’s policy of peace, justice, equality, tolerance and spreading the values of Islam and strengthening the fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain’s people and Muslim peoples around the world.
