HM King's directives to ensure citizens' welfare hailed by speaker

Manama, June 15 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, has expressed deep pride in His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to enhance the existing Executive-Legislature cooperation and focus on consolidating the nation building and development process for the best interests of the kingdom and the citizens, praying to Allah the Almighty to guide HM the King on the right path in order to continue the progress, security and stability march enjoyed by Bahrain under his leadership. The speaker lauded HM the King’s directives to ensure the requirements of decent life for the citizens and to appreciate their efforts, which, he said, reflects his keenness to harness all potentials to serve the citizens, the core of the development process, through sustainable provision of integrated services and optimal use of national resources while preserving Bahrainis’ rights and gains. Al-Mulla lauded the fruitful cooperation between the Council of Representatives and the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He also valued highly the growing cooperation and complementarity with the Shura Council. The speaker reiterated the Representatives Council’s full-fledged backing of HM King Hamad’s leadership regarding everything aimed at preserving national gains, ensuring continuous achievements for the nation and the citizens, cementing national unity among all components of the Bahraini society and reinforcing deep-rooted national values of moderation, tolerance and respect for rights and freedoms. Al-Mulla extended, on behalf of all MPs, deepest congratulations to HM the King on Eid Al-Fitr, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless him with abundant good health and happiness, and to fulfill his aspirations for more progress and prosperity. He wished HM King Hamad, the Bahraini people and the Arab and Muslim nations many happy returns of the occasion.
