Minister to patronise energy conference

Manama, June 15 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Chairman of the Bahrain Association for Small and Medium Enterprises Dr. Abdul Hassan Al-Deiri, and other members of the association. The two sides discussed the role of energy sustainability in creating business opportunities and eliminating difficulties in the SME sector. The delegation expressed the association’s desire to organize a conference and exhibition in the field of energy sustainability and efficiency under the patronage of the minister in October. Dr. Al-Deiri and officials stressed the keenness of the association to develop its role and activate its partnerships with various ministries and institutions working in this field to benefit the national economy. They expressed their thanks and appreciation to the minister for the reception and welcomed the opening of better relations between the two parties. The minister also agreed to patronize the conference and exhibition. The meeting was attended by Acting Director of the Sustainable Energy Unit Engineer Alexander Al Samahiji and its adviser, Rami Othman.
